I have the most beautiful clematis that bloomed this week, it’s called HENRYI.

The bloom can be anywhere from 5″ to 8″ across.  By mid summer they should be huge.  So far it’s been a no brainer to grow.

And notice it’s climbing nicely on my FREE, handmade branch trellis!  (see older post on how to make these)

I transplanted it from my daughters yard in March after a few years of neglect.  It survived without extra watering, amongst weeds and probably a random leftover beer thrown on it (daughter, boyfriend, roommate, college, get it :-).

And a dirty duck thrown in today for good measure!

Hi there! Thank you for stopping by my blog. I haven’t had much access of late so only just got to see your comment :-) I should be updating soon but we’ve been so busy with preparations for getting on the road again … unfortunately we have been delayed though :-( Anyway, gorgeous pictures! My mum just bought me a couple of flower books so that I can get busy ‘identifying’ on our travels … can’t wait. Hope to see you again! Alice x

Hi! Just found your blog through BYC and I love it! I’m new to the whole poultry thing, just started last year with 10 baby chicks and maybe starting ducks this year. So I’m doing a lot of internet searching on how to create a backyard duck home. It was fun to see your video showing your duck pen. Thanks for sharing.
