DUCKS BE FREE!
Today was a big day! Kelsey and AJ came over and we coaxed the ducks out of the pen and into the yard. They really didn’t want to get out so we bribed them with lettuce. Once they were in the free world I think they enjoyed exploring the yard.
The next step was teaching them about the sandbox turned duck pond. After an hour of no ducks in the water, I put their familiar “pond” next to the bigger pond. They figured that one out and quickly adapted!
Sadly the two youngest, Sonny and Cher, aren’t big enough to get in the big pool so they’ll have to wait a week or so. Now, if the rest of the girls can just figure out how to get that leg up and over a little more like a lady!
