Can A Garden Be Exciting?
YES! It was last week! The girls (ducks) and I were out in the garden and I had just walked outside my garden fence when a tree in my neighbors backyard broke and fell on the transformer! I should add that it was windy that day. WHOA, did that scare me AND the girls!
This is the aftermath because during the whole event I sure didn’t think about taking pictures. I was too busy calling 911 because the tree that fell caused the transformer to catch fire and then blow, which in turn caught the tree on fire! The ducks ran like mad to the other corner of the yard.
They stayed in the corner for a good long time!
All ended well. The power was restored by dark and the men who had to take down the tree and fix the transformer, were good enough to put my garden back together. Bravo!!
PS. No eggs were popped out the next day ;-(
