That is the question of each morning, most often beginning with the HONK of my most annoying duck, CHER.  If things are usual her day starts to rev up about 6.  But if the world doesn’t agree with her, then she may start at 4, like she did this early day.  She may have to be re-homed, but I am putting that off as long as I can because she’s the one that gives me a laugh.  When I went out this morning, this is what she looked like…..

And trust me, at this point she is quacking up a storm!  I’ll be sure to youtube her next so you can all feel my pain.

But the most fun of the whole morning is to find out what the girls have produced.  For awhile they were dropping all over the yard.  Lately, they have found a favorite spot and so I’ve watched them take turns sitting on the same nest. 

My garden is winding down, but this is the total backyard treasure for this morning, not bad! 

My kitchen man says “Come and get it!”  I think a fancy omelet is calling my name!
